Financial Author A Dawn Begins Writing His Second Book “Save Now: A Universal Guide to Saving”

Let the Saving Journey Begin

I am writing this post to give my readers a heads up on my upcoming book “Save Now: A Universal Guide to Saving.” I have started writing “Save Now” vigorously about two weeks ago when I started my vacation. I have completed 75% of its main content. However, a lot of work still has to be done, as I will be deleting some parts I wrote and will be adding more chapters.

As it stands right now, there will be two main chapters. In the first chapter, I will discuss simple things you can do on a daily basis to save money such as saving money in groceries, saving money on transportation, saving money on appliances, saving money on Internet and cable, and so on. In the second chapter, I will discuss a bit more complex (still in simple words) saving tips such as saving money on housing, saving money on bank accounts, credit cards, taxes, and so on.

I am not sure yet on how many chapters there will be. However, like “Invest Now,” I will keep “Save Now” at a minimal page count. There should not be more that 150 pages. Why? Because information is at its best when it is short and to the point.  If you read a 400-page book with 350 money saving tips, you would put that book away once you were done reading and forget about it – there is no way you’d be going through the book to use those redundant tips one by one.

I am hoping to wrap up “Save Now” this year and would like to send it to my publisher next year. Hopefully, ceteris paribus, expect to see “Save Now” in print in late 2012 or early 2013. I will keep you posted as I go along.
